Alongside my background in production engineering, I have a deep passion for cybersecurity, more specifically secure coding. I love figuring out how systems work, how to break them, and how to build them up to prevent them from being compromised.

The purpose of this blog is to put my thoughts into practice and share my process for secure coding and exploitation. I’ve often come across security write-ups that parrot solutions without a comprehensive or thorough explanation of the process in which they have come to their conclusions. My goal is to thoroughly explain, to the best of my ability, the “why” behind every step, if not for the reader then for myself, because I am often asking myself “why”. Writing these breakdowns will not only help the readers learn the process I’ve used to find the answer to “why”, but it also solidifies my own understanding of the concepts discussed in the article and strengthens my understanding of them.
